The 2018 Ford F-250 Super Duty Truck

A six-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive come standardly equipped as well. Many upgrades can be made, including four-wheel drive, a diesel engine, or manual transmission. There truly are a dizzying array of combinations available to suit your exact specifications.

Like the F-250, the F-350 is loaded with safety features aimed at protecting you no matter what roads are ahead. Park assist, navigation, remote keyless entry, ABS and driveline traction control are just some of the impressive and innovative safety features that the F-350 offers.

At the forefront of this group of impressive and powerful Super Duty trucks is the optional Power Stroke Diesel. With 925 lb.-ft. of torque, the monstrous F-450 can tow up to 325,500 pounds. That makes it top of its class and king of its competitors.

The turbo diesel engine of the F-450 has seen upgrades for 2018 and is a leader in torque and towing capacity. A 6.7-liter V-8 diesel engine produces up to 440 horsepower, and more than 925 lb.-ft. of torque and is combined with a six-speed TorqShift auto gearbox. The payload capacity is 5,320 pounds, easily beating both the F-350 and the F-250.

This model is loaded with multiple safety features aimed at protecting both drivers and passengers. Side mounted and rear mounted airbags, adaptive steering, adaptive cruise control, parking sensors, backup and side cameras, navigation, an innovative blind spot monitoring system, and upgraded xenon lights all are available with Platinum Crew Cab trim levels and above. Built to withstand just about anything, the F-450 is a safe and reliable truck all around.

The gas mileage that you get with the F-450 will depend heavily upon whether you choose a gas or diesel engine, and what kind of transmission you decide to pair it with. Expect to get anywhere from 15 to 21 MPG with this F-450.
